Lindsay Jennings will give a talk about a day in the life of a Carmelite nun.  She was in the Carmel of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in Valparaiso, Nebraska (1990 constitutions) discerning her vocation from January 2006 until August 2010.  Her talk will cover as much as possible in 30 minutes, and there will be a 15-20 minute question/answer session to follow.  Learn about the Carmelite’s schedule, daily routine, and fun personal stories.  The Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph has roots in the Cristeros war when some of the sister left Mexico during the persecution to start a foundation in California.  As the Carmel grew, more sisters went on to start a foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada and this foundation was later transferred to Valparaiso.  Join us! heresa of Avila).  You can write comments and questions under the video and after the talk there will be a live Q & A session.  Tell everyone you know and come enjoy:)
